I Executed Cyberhaven's SEO strategy which got over 30 core keywords to the top 10 position of Google and tripled SEO traffic in two quarters. Also managed and edited newsletters and video interviews to promote the company brand.
In this role at Nightfall, I maintained our content inventory to ensure all content, from blogs to sales enablement materials, were kept up to date. I also leveraged the content inventory to identify content gaps. Additionally, I helped oversee our SEO content strategy, produce our monthly content newsletters, and write strategic communications to customers.
In my second year at Nightfall, I served as the product marketing manager for the company. In this role, I still produced weekly blog content and helped manage our SEO strategy. I also oversaw one product launch and three feature updates. This involved producing blog posts, customer emails, and sales enablement material for each launch. Additionally, I lead a major sales enablement initiative to create a curriculum that would allow new sales reps to rapidly onboard.
I served as the content marketing manager for a Series A B2B cybersecurity startup, where I managed the company's editorial calendar. In my role, I wrote one to two blog posts weekly and sought opportunities to promote my content in outlets like VentureBeat and ITProPortal. Additionally, I produced webinars, e-books, and other sales collateral on a monthly basis, helping generate over 300 leads in a 10-month period.
As a senior writer, I wrote multiple weekly blog posts and engaged our audience on social media. I was also responsible for managing the look and feel for the company newsletter as well as pulling organic blog and social media performance from Google Analytics, Tableau, and Mailchimp to share with the editorial team in a monthly PowerPoint presentation. Additionally, when needed I edited content on our site after updates were made to either our blog on WordPress or our site's custom CMS.
As a member of NextAdvisor's editorial team, I maintained the technology and finance sections of our site by editing content reviews and writing 3 to 5 weekly blog posts on consumer finance and cybersecurity. Beyond this I interacted with our audience in forums and on Twitter and Facebook to answer questions and promote NextAdvisor content. I also had interviews with reporters from a number of publications on the topics that I researched and wrote about. Finally, I assisted with editing content when needed.
I worked as an assistant to the communications manager by helping promote the Brower Center brand through strategic social media usage, outreach to communities, promotional copy, and blog posts reflecting various facets of the center’s work.
